A description from the Advaita Philosophy system of the nine elements by which creation is both brought into existence and dissolved. Starting with consciousness, the Absolute, followed by 8 steps moving from the causal realm, into the subtle realm and finally into the physical world.

 This is the way in which consciousness takes different forms and evolves into the manifest universe, the universe as we see it and know it.

 The universal is reflected in the individual.
